After arriving in Palermo, make your way independently to our hotel in Cefalù. Once checked in, take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful seaside setting. This evening, meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where we'll begin our Sicilian adventure together. Overnight in Cefalù.
After breakfast, depart for a half-day guided tour of Palermo, Sicily’s vibrant and historic capital. Highlights include a visit to nearby Monreale and its magnificent cathedral, widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Norman architecture in Sicily. Inside, marvel at the breathtaking golden mosaics depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments—one of the greatest artistic achievements of the Middle Ages.
Continue into the heart of Palermo to explore the city’s lively markets, where colorful displays of fresh produce, seafood, and local specialties offer a glimpse into everyday Sicilian life. Along the way, sample some of Sicily’s most famous street foods and experience the city's unique blend of cultures and flavors.
This evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Choose from one of Cefalù’s many excellent restaurants or dine with fellow travelers. Overnight in Cefalù.
After breakfast, depart for Sicily’s beautiful western coast. This morning, enjoy a guided visit to the remarkable archaeological site of Segesta, home to one of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world. Set amid rolling hills, the site offers a fascinating glimpse into Sicily’s ancient past and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Later, continue to our charming countryside retreat, La Foresteria in Menfi, nestled among vineyards and olive groves. After time to settle in, gather with your fellow travelers for a wine tasting and welcome dinner featuring regional specialties and wines produced on the estate.

After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive along Sicily’s southern coastline to Agrigento, home to the spectacular Valley of the Temples. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features some of the finest and best-preserved Doric temples in the world, offering a fascinating glimpse into the island’s ancient Greek heritage.
Following your visit, continue to the baroque town of Ragusa, known for its elegant architecture, charming piazzas, and picturesque streets. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore at your own pace.
This evening, enjoy dinner on your own at one of Ragusa’s many inviting restaurants or cafés, where you can savor local Sicilian specialties in a beautiful setting.

Following breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Villa Romana del Casale, a Roman villa built in the 4th century that boasts the richest and largest collection of Roman mosaics in the world. After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day at your own pace in the beautiful baroque town of Ragusa. Take time to wander its charming streets, browse local shops, relax in a café, or simply soak in the atmosphere of this UNESCO-listed destination. You may also choose to explore nearby Ragusa Ibla, the town’s historic heart, known for its stunning architecture, elegant piazzas, and breathtaking views.
The day is yours to enjoy as you wish, whether that means sightseeing, shopping, or simply relaxing and embracing the slower pace of Sicilian life.

Syracuse offers a wonderful blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty, making it the perfect place to spend a leisurely day.

After breakfast, set out for an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna, Europe's highest and one of the world's most active volcanoes. Explore its dramatic volcanic landscapes and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and coastline.
Later, visit a local winery on the slopes of Etna, where the rich volcanic soil produces some of Sicily’s most distinctive and acclaimed wines. Enjoy a guided tasting followed by a leisurely lunch featuring regional specialties perfectly paired with the estate’s wines.
This evening, return to Taormina and enjoy time at leisure. Sip an aperitivo from your balcony overlooking the sparkling Ionian Sea before heading out to dinner at one of the town’s many excellent restaurants.

After breakfast, set out to discover the stunning beauty of Sicily’s Ionian Coast on a scenic boat excursion. Cruise along crystal-clear waters while admiring dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and some of eastern Sicily’s most spectacular coastal scenery. Along the way, explore picturesque sea caves, including the famous Grotta Azzurra, known for its striking blue waters and unique rock formations.
Weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to stop for a refreshing swim in the clear Mediterranean Sea. Relax on board, soak up the sunshine, and take in unforgettable views of the coastline from the water.
Return to Taormina and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
